Tozer [on the cross]

Tozer spoke about the "new cross" and the "old cross." He said that this "new cross" that many Christians look to is only superficial in its likeness to the "old cross."

The new cross does not slay the sinner, it redirects him into a cleaner and jollier way of living and saves his self-respect.
