Elia Ruth?

I think we like Elia Ruth Thompson for a girl's name. "Elia" comes from the Greek word for mercy. We'll see.

Do you pronounce it like "Elias" without the "s"? It's very pretty. I love when people choose unique names.

that's the thing thing we're curious about - the pronunciation. my dad, in his paternal wisdom, siad that people here in the south would call her "El-ya" :)

i was thinking three syllables - "El-ee-ah"
